3 Bad-Ass Black Anime Characters

Let’s jump right into it, shall we? Though, this isn’t a list of three of the most badass, black, anime characters. However, these are my personal favorites and for good reason. At least, I think so.

3) Yoruichi Shihōin (Bleach)

Yoruichi Shihōin, from Bleach, is an absolute beast. She’s the former captain of the 2nd division of the Gotei 13 and the Stealth Force in Soul Society. If you don’t know what that means, essentially she’s extremely strong. Being one of the most accomplished hand-to-hand combatants in Soul Society and a Shunpo Master, Yoruichi is certainly one of the most badass, female, characters in anime. Not to mention, every character in Bleach utilizes their spiritual weapons (Zanpakutō) but Yoruichi usually just beats the crap out of her opponents unarmed. Also, she can turn into a black cat. Hell yeah.

2. Afro (Afro Samurai)

Afro, from Afro Samurai, is an extremely talented swordsman. He doesn’t talk much and doesn’t seem to feel anything when he slaughters his enemies by the dozens. Also, he can deflect crossbow bolts, shatter bullets, and dismember enemies with blinding strokes of his sword. Apathetic, cool, collected, and silent, Afro is certainly worthy of making the list.

1) Killer Bee (Naruto)

Created by Masashi Kishimoto

Killer Bee is a rapping ninja with devastating powers that can literally level entire mountains. When he is first introduced to the series, he wields seven swords simultaneously and beats the crap out of Sasuke Uchiha, one of the series’ talented main characters. Killer Bee also happens to have a giant, octopus, demon sealed in him, with whom he has a fond relationship. He’s a badass break-dancer and he always greets his friends with a classic fist-bump. How could you not love this guy?
