If you're trying to buy your tickets for 'Avengers: Endgame', you may be waiting anywhere between thirty minutes to three hours.
And that's if you can even still get a ticket at this point.
Marvel Studios announced tickets to the final episode of Avenger's saga with an emotional trailer showing the remaining Avengers assembling to do what they were created to do: Avenge the world and those who fell under Thanos' diabolical snap.
Unfortunately, it seems Thanos' snap affected even major ticket-selling companies such as Fandango, and especially AMC, when ticket sales were brought to a screeching standstill due to the sheer amount of traffic causing both websites (and several others) to crash.
Naturally, fans are about as enraged as I am every I see a meme about Ant-Man destroying Thanos from the [cough] "inside out".
As it turns out, there is some good that comes from the chaos of the multi-site crashes:
Both Fandango and AMC have broken massive world-records for the best-selling First Hour of ticket sales for a movie. Numbers such as these haven't been seen since the advanced release of tickets for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, back in 2015, followed by The Last Jedi in 2017, and Rogue One in 2016.
The only other Marvel movie to accomplish this is (not surprisingly) Avengers: Infinity War, a movie most notable for emotionally destroying MCU fans worldwide.
While there is still time to purchase tickets (should you be up for the wait), if you live in Los Angeles, you may be very well out of luck due to the fact that almost all tickets are nearly sold out.
Avengers: Endgame, releases in theaters in American theaters on April 26th.
