Invincible first premiered on Amazon Prime Video back in spring 2021 containing eight episodes. It is an adult oriented animated series that revolves the story about Mark Grayson, a 17-year-old (voiced by Steven Yeun) who aspires to become like his father Nolan Grayson, also known as the Omni-Man hero. The animated series is based on Robert Kirkman’s (popular for his previous work The Walking Dead) comic book.
With the relative success of Invincible in 1st season, season 2 is highly anticipated amongst the fan base. The trailer for season 2 was released on 20th of January starring our main protagonist, Invincible, who's sitting across from Allen the Alien grabbing a bite to eat at local burger joint Burger Mart. While the trailer may have been satisfying for the fans and casual watchers out there, it still left many with questions about the exact release date and what happens in season 2.
What to expect in 2nd season:
Season 1 left us with a roller coaster of emotions, pitfalls, and character development. We see Mark slowly gain his powers and eventually step forth out of his father (Omni-Man) shadows. While Omni-Man is not the guy he portrays at the beginning of the series, he eventually show his true colors and lead us viewers into his world of chaos & destruction. As a fan of the comic book series I can say that the show only gets more brutal.
Let's just say Mark is in for a wild and hard ride (literally)!
